Delivery, Installation & Additional Services

A1. Delivery Area & Timing
We deliver to mainland UK addresses only. Once your order is placed, we will contact you to arrange delivery. Delivery is typically made within 20 working days, unless a different estimated delivery timeframe is stated on the product page.
Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, delivery routes, and your distance from our warehouse(s). In some cases, delivery may be carried out by a third-party courier.
A2. Delivery Charges (inc. VAT)
- Orders under £50: £10
- Orders £50 – £150: £25
- Orders £150 – £500: £50
- Orders over £500: Free
Delivery charges do not include assembly, installation, or removal services unless selected at checkout.
A3. Delivery-Only Service
We can offer a Delivery-Only service upon request. This is a kerbside/doorstep delivery only. This does not include carrying items inside, assembly, installation, or packaging removal.
Please ensure safe and clear access to the delivery address. If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues or no one being available to accept delivery, a re-delivery charge may apply.
A4. Assembly & Installation Service
Offered as a free & included service providing the delivery location is within an appropriate distance or feasible for our current delivery schedule, our trained Nooklife® team will:
- Deliver items to the specified room(s)
- Carry items up or down up to two flights of stairs (please advise us in advance if more are required)
- Assemble items and remove packaging
You must confirm the required room location at the time of ordering. If this is not provided, placement will be at our team’s discretion. We cannot accept liability for dissatisfaction with placement, although a return visit may be arranged for an additional fee.
Items will not be fixed to walls or connected to services unless specifically requested and paid for. By requesting these services, you confirm that you have the authority to permit the work.
We do not install gas appliances or carry out work requiring a Gas Safe engineer or registered electrician. Appliance connections can only be completed where safe and compliant connections are already in place. If a return visit is required due to unsuitable conditions, an additional charge may apply.
A5. Removal Services
Where selected at checkout, we can remove and dispose of unwanted items on a like-for-like basis, subject to size, weight, and health & safety considerations.
Items must be:
- Disconnected and empty
- Easily accessible
- Free from pests or health hazards
We reserve the right to refuse removal of unsafe items. Additional or bulk removals may incur further charges.
A6. Customer Responsibilities
Before ordering, you are responsible for ensuring:
- Items will fit through all access points (doorways, stairwells, corridors)
- Clear and safe access for delivery and installation
- The property is suitable for delivery (including adequate space and sanitary conditions)
Product dimensions are available on our website. Some items are delivered flat-packed; others may arrive partially or fully assembled.
We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate access, pre-existing property damage, or failure to follow these requirements.
A7. Failed or Missed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
- No one being available to accept delivery
- Incomplete or incorrect access information
- Undisclosed parking restrictions
We may charge a reasonable re-delivery fee. Any parking fines or charges incurred due to missing information may be passed on to you.
Any charges applied will be limited to reasonable costs incurred and will not affect the consumer’s statutory right to cancel under Appendix B
A8. Inspection, Risk & Ownership
Please inspect your goods on delivery and notify us as soon as reasonably possible of any damage, defects, or missing items.
Risk passes to you once the goods are delivered to you (or a neighbour nominated by you). Ownership of the goods transfers once payment has been received in full.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
A9. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
